Special Address by Dr Iqbal Singh Chahal | 35th Convocation Thapar Institute



Thapar Institute’s distinguished alumnus Iqbal Singh Chahal graduated in 1987 with B.Tech (Honours) in Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

After 32 years of his association with the institute, he was conferred with a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) for his exceptional management during the second wave of COVId-19 in Mumbai. 

Watch him share his experience of managing over 61 constituencies and ensuring continuous supply of medicines across the state. He also shares his astonishment at the strides Thapar Institute has made in the past three decades to become a world class deemed university.
